Company History

Scott Hanson and Pat McClain founded Hanson McClain in 1993. After several years of working for a large financial services firm, they decided to create a different kind of independent financial planning and investment firm focused on reducing the conflicts of interest they perceived to be prevalent in the marketplace. Scott and Pat wanted to provide the type of service where courtesy and professionalism were standard and guide the organization by a set of values that puts the clients’ needs first.
